About Jeffery MacKinnon, P.Eng., PE
Jeff MacKinnon, P.Eng. PE, is from Nova Scotia, Canada and has worked on projects all over North and South America.
Jeff is an electrical engineer specializing in industrial power systems and controls at cement and mining facilities, hydrogeneration plants, and other large institutions. Jeff works with owners, project managers, and engineers to help find and fill the cracks between scope and design to ensure overall project successes.
Jeff has worked with many different clients in a variety of capacities including working and using the client’s own design and project management processes with internal project tracking. In times when a client doesn’t have processes, JMK Engineering uses their own project design and tracking process that Jeff helped to develop.
Jeff loves being involved in the project process as early as possible. With his varied experience in initial conception, design, construction/implementation, and commissioning, potential challenges can be caught, accounted for, and mitigated earlier in the process when the cost of the project is the lowest.
